In a collapsed world where carriers are branded and hunted, a man who cannot afford weakness finds a girl chained with his mark. Teaching her to survive may be the only thing that keeps him moving.

PITCH

In a collapsed world, carriers of a viral plague are branded and hunted. Infected but not fully transformed, they are not the monsters the world decided they were. Elias is one of them: reclusive, dependent on suppressant injections to keep symptoms at bay. When a thief steals his last supply, he tracks him down. He finds Maya instead. Twelve years old. Chained. Marked like him. No symptoms, no injections. She shouldn't exist. Together they become targets for the Reapers, fanatics who hunt the branded like a holy mission.

The line between human and monster is not biological. It's political.
